Earhoox lovers are early adopters. They’re the kind of people who notice and jump on great ideas before they hit the mainstream. They’re always after better experiences, cooler solutions and awesome concepts. We get it – and we love it. We know that Earhoox is a tiny but mighty product. It’s something that’s totally changed how you do things. It’s a game-changer.
Like you, we’re cool hunters. We keep our eyes – and ears – peeled for ideas that make life better, easier and more enjoyable. Here are a few that we think would pair pretty well with the Earhoox life.
Don’t get tied down. Use Hickies un-laces.
Loop, bow, double-knot – how do you tie? But really, shouldn’t the question be why do you tie? It’s hard to imagine a more pointless endeavor in life than tying shoelaces. They take time to do up and to undo, and they always come loose midway through your workout or when you’re halfway across the road.
Hickies are an alternative to shoelaces that clip together your shoe’s eyelets separately. Snap them in, twist them to tighten – and suddenly your lace-ups have become slip-ons. We could get used to a life without laces. View on Amazon
Light the way home with Night Runner.
Running in the dark is running on hard mode. You have to navigate puddles, potholes, trash and all those late-night drivers who are completely blind to your presence. Reflective clothing helps others see you, but it doesn’t exactly help you see, especially if you’re on a trail or a darker neighborhood.
Night Runner is basically bike lights on your shoes. They clip onto your laces, throwing off a bright light that helps you see where you’re going – and alerting cars and cyclists that they’re not alone on the road. It’s a bright idea. View on Amazon
Get a grip. Get some love handles.
For most of us, our mobile phone is basically an extension of our body. It’s in our hands at all times – regardless of what we’re doing. But after getting smaller for a while, our phones suddenly got way bigger. And now holding them isn’t as easy as it used to be. Particularly if you’re carrying multiple things at once or trying to get something done.
Enter Love Handles. They’re a fabric loop with 3M adhesive backing that sticks to your phone for easy carrying, handling – and even surface mounting. Plus they come in a bunch of designs. It’s the smartphone accessory you didn’t know you needed. View on Amazon
McGuyver through life with Sugru.
Things crack, break and fall apart. It’s a fact of life – and thermodynamics. But finding the right fixes to put things back together is a challenge. Most glues only work on some materials. Some leave ugly seams. Others make the repaired item brittle.
Sugru is a silicone-based moldable glue that sticks pretty much anything together. It’s waterproof, flexible, temperature-resistant, durable and easily removable. Just stick it, allow 30 minutes for it to dry, and enjoy. View on Amazon
Spot the sandtraps with glowing golf balls.
Golf takes a lifetime to master. And if you’re in a habit of teeing off after work, or your short game means that a quick 9 holes takes several hours more than it should, then you’ll find yourself playing in the dark. Course lighting helps you navigate, but it’s not great for finding those errant dimpled balls.
GlowV1 Night Golf Balls are tour-quality, ultra-bright glow-in-the-dark golf balls. They charge with UV light for a glow that lingers while you play, and unlike LED-lit balls they won’t black out when you hammer them with your driver. View on Amazon
Toast to class with a chambong.
Champagne is the drink of celebration. And beer bongs are partiers’ favorite beverage delivery device. What a shame that champagne can only be drunk out of delicate fluted glasses – there’s nothing truly American about sipping from fine crystal.
Chambong lets you have the taste of champagne with the enjoyment of a beer bong. You can imbibe champagne on fast mode and with a far more egalitarian ritual. Drink up. View on Amazon
